Tonight’s (Wednesday) Navaratri celebration has Mother seated on a bull. She is called Rishabha Vahini: Serving their master without demanding anything – this is the life of a bull.
In order to root out the darkness within, the seeker faithfully serves the Lord. Thus, the seeds of vasanas (latent tendencies, compulsions, desires) are destroyed.
